The Hopewell Police Department needs your assistance with an ongoing investigation into a drive-by shooting. On April 19th, during the evening hours, police responded to the 1400 block of New York Avenue. Investigation revealed that the 24 year-old victim was standing in front of the residence when a green car drove slowly by. This car had at least three occupants. As the car passed the victim, gunfire erupted and the victim was struck. Police have few leads on this incident and are requesting your help in order to bring those responsible for this crime to justice. As always, you do not need to give your name or testify in court and you may receive a reward of up to $1,000. |
