The Hopewell Police Department needs your assistance in locating the person that is responsible for a number of thefts from a Dominion Virginia Power sub-station, located in the 1100 block of Hercules Road in Hopewell.

Since late August, there have been four separate thefts at this location. The suspect is using bolt cutters to gain entry. Once inside, large quantities of copper wire are being stolen.

On one occasion, it appears the suspect was a black male traveling in an older model GMC pickup truck. On another occasion, it appears the suspect was a white male.
