Imagine you're out for your morning walk and discover a jeep in your pond, well that's exactly what happened to one county resident back in May 2005. A property owner on Lebanon road in Prince George found a gate damaged and upon further investigation saw the green 4-door Jeep Cherokee in his pond. A check of the vehicle by county police revealed that the jeep had been recently stolen from the city of Hopewell. Thieves then drove onto the property in Prince George, placed a large rock on the accelerator pedal and steered the vehicle into the pond. Both Hopewell and Prince George Police are working this case but need your help to put all the pieces together. If you have any information regarding this stolen jeep or damage to the property on Lebanon road in Prince George call Crime Solvers. In Prince George you can call 804-733-2777 or in Hopewell call 804-541-2202, all calls are anonymous and you could receive a cash reward of up to $1,000.00 if your information helps police to solve this crime. Remember, you never have to give your name or testify in court to collect the money. |
