Open Case – Prince George

Between the dates of March 1 and March 3 four large rolls of copper were stolen from the 5300 Block of Hall Farm Road.  

Open Case – Hopewell

Within the last six months vehicle tires are being cut throughout the City of Hopewell. If you notice any suspicious activity near vehicles after dark, please contact the Police Department. If you have any information on any of these cases please contact Crime Solvers.

Prince George County

On May 21, 2013, Southlawn Memorial Park reported 28 metal cemetery vases that were stolen off of gravesites.

On May 22, 2013, Merchant Hope Memorial Gardens Cemetery reported a total of 80 bronze cemetery vases were stolen off of gravesites at their location. Based on the vases that were left behind, it seems the suspect(s) have knowledge of the value of the items.

Several cemeteries travelling north on Interstate 95 in the Chesterfield and Henrico area were also victims of the same type of larcenies within the same time period.

Police ask for anyone with any information regarding this larceny to call Crime Solvers at (804) 733-2777. Citizens can also Text-a-Tip anonymously by simply adding "274637 (CRIMES)" to your contacts list on your cellular phone and then text "igotcha" along with your message/tip. You will then be provided an ID number that you will use when checking the status of your tip OR picking up your reward.

Hopewell-Prince George Crime Solvers, Inc. is a community involvement program, created to help stop crime in its tracks.

The Crime Solvers program helps gather clues that law enforcement agencies need to solve crimes.

Every week, facts about various crimes are publicized on radio, TV, and newspapers, with a request that anyone who has information about those crimes call one of the spcial Crime Solvers numbers.

All tips are anonymous (we do not have “caller id”) and cash rewards are paid (up to $1,000) for clues that are vital in the successful solution of a crime.

Crime Solvers is NOT funded by your tax dollars. We depend on donations from private citizens, corporations, civic and social groups, and professional asociation.
